Faculty of Arts, University of Ljubljana, is located in the city center: Aškerčeva ulica 2, 1000 Ljubljana, Slovenia.
If you come by car, you can park on the streets nearby, but you will need to pay 0.40–0.70 EUR per hour (parking time is limited in certain areas). Close to the faculty (if you cross Slovenska street) there is a large parking space called NUK (price is 1.20 EUR per hour).
You can also park at the outskirts of Ljubljana, for example P+R Barje, where you can park for whole day and take bus number 9, which stops near the faculty (bus stop Mirje) or P+R Dolgi most and take bus number 6 (bus stop Aškerčeva).
If you come by train or by bus, you can use city busses number 2, 27 or 9, which stop at bus stop Kolodvor next to the central bus station. If you decide to take a bus to the faculty, you will have to purchase Urbana.
If you prefer walking, it will take you approximately 30 min, since the distance from the station to the faculty is 2 km.

Visa is not required for citizens of European Union, North America, Australia, New Zealand and many other countries.
If in doubt, we advise you to check the conditions on Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the RSweb page and their Visa section page. Select link “Representations abroad” and enter your country name or select the continent and country. Check also the subsection “Information for foreigners” at the end of page.
If visa for foreign citizens is required, contact the nearest Slovenian embassy or consulate responsible for your country and follow the instructions for visa application.
To process the visa application, we will have to issue the Letter of guarantee, for which we will need additional information. Please fill out the form (Data for Letter of guarantee.doc) and send it as soon as possible to the conference organisers via email (nives.kolaric@ff.uni-lj.si) with the subject “VISA information”.
Please note that according to our policy we issue the Letter of Guarantee only for registered participants with an accepted abstract. The letter of guarantee will be sent to the concerned Slovenian embassy directly.
